To unite the country, we need honesty and courage

Differences naturally arise in seeking to identify the diverse values of a learning community (Practice M1). To prevent these differences from growing into divisions, these conversations need to be rooted in humility. Seeking to address the conflict of a sharply-divided nation, Robert George and Cornel West—two individuals who in some ways operate at opposite ends of the political spectrum—issue this joint call to humility that is wrapped in the companion character assets of “honesty and courage.”
